The resin also stabilizes the fibers, which reduces operator skin irritation. Although the acrylic resin degrades at operating temperatures above 200 Deg C, 710C continues to provide thermal and space factor insulations high as 650 Deg C with continuous operation at 450 Deg C. 710C expands readily to slip over connections or terminals. 710C is used in high temperature, low voltage applications such as shunts in carbon brushes, toasters, coffeemakers and other small heating appliances.
