Superior High Velocity Impact Resistance and Visual Clarity are obtained from the use of rigid, optical grade GE Lexan Polycarbonate Resin found in all Safety Optical eyeglass sideshields. Soft PVC side shields are easily deformed when impacted and will facilitate entry of a projectile into the ocular area that eyeglass sideshields are intended to protect.
